Derry Airport is is located within the village of Eglinton, 13 kilometers east of Derry city center. Its facilities are online as well as airport check-in, lounges, ca parking areas where you can park for just a short time or a number of days, forex exchange agencies and three shops where you can do some shopping. This airport caters for regional flights that go to Liverpool, Glasgow, London, Birmingham and many other destinations in Europe. When you visit this city of Derry, you can visit many historical attractions some of them being Amelia Earhart Cottage, Derry City Heritage Center, Austins Department Store, Tower Museum and The Craft Village.
When you arrive at Derry you can opt to use any of the various transprt services that are available. All the flights at the airport are always expected to arrive and depart on time and therefore every passenger is advised to be at his or her respective departure gate thirty minutes before their flight is due to depart.
