Sarmellek Airport is located in Hungary. It is often referred to by the public as Heviz-Balaton Airport because it is situated near the Lake of Balaton. This airport was first created in the 1940s as a military airport and then in 1982 its runways were constructed. This airport is owned by the government of Sarmellek since the year 2002. In the year 2008 and 2009 this airport faced some problems due to financial difficulties and had to close. In the year 2010 it reopened and got back into the travel business.
Sarmellek is the second airport in the country is a quite nice according to travelers. Those that come to this airport have access to all the wonderful facilities such as the cafes, shops, ATM, and the VIP lounge. When you are in Sarmellek Airport you will not get bored because there is so much to do here.
